Who are the gaming industry people that post on GameFAQs?

One thing I noticed is there are special levels

• (41) VIP - Media - Verified Industry Poster - User confirmed as a professional member of the gaming media.
• (42) VIP - Industry - Verified Industry Poster - User confirmed as a member of the game industry, although not directly involved in game production.
• (43) VIP - Production - Verified Industry Poster - User confirmed as a member of the game industry, involved in game production.

Besides that Troy Baker situation years ago in 2024 any famous gaming people post on here since site created those levels for them. If you want to look back to the past have they ever done an AMA like Reddit's r/IAmA does all the time for famous people. If they have please include the year it happened as well if you can remember.

Not many as the user rank was more meant to prove they were actually affilated with their company or game and was not intended to be put onto accounts for socializing in general. I think the form (maybe still does) used to say as such too.

Reddit r/IAmA is a popular sub. To give an example in last 12 months they had Marques Brownlee aka MKBHD do one over there.

Probably not anymore. GameFAQs is considered passe by much of the Internet.

Though the main actress from Plumbers Don't Wear Ties did once post on that game's board, and also shilled her fetish-wrestling Clips4Sale page, too. >_>
