So what I usually do is *right click open in new tab* when scrolling this board, so I can save a bunch of threads to read for later. I come back a couple of days later and most of the tabs say "this topic is no longer available". That was like 9 out of 12 tabs where the topic has just been deleted. That has never happened before when perusing CE. Ungh.

Hmm, at least one of the tabs with a still available topic had a message saying "the message your are looking for is no longer available", so if someone got purged, I guess their posts and their topics get deleted?

Yes. Middle clicking on my laptop's touchpad just activates the selection. Clicking on the right side of it opens up the page/tab options.

Nah, sometimes I've a taken about a week or more to get around to the tabs, and the topics are still there waiting for me to read. This is the first time most of the opened tabs in my CE Tab Group have gone poof.

Hmm, dunno. I've refreshed to see if there's any new posts since right clicking the tabs open, or to post one myself, before. My tabs usually auto-refresh when after being in sleep for a while, or having closed the browser.

I'm just saying, this is the first time so many have gone poof like that, after all this Fandom/CE closed board stuff.

Topics literally purge after 2-3 days after the last post though (different boards have different purge rates according to total messages on the board). So if you refreshed them, they'll be gone if no one posted in them since then.
