I think someone figured out the One Piece (One Piece 1113 spoiler new chapter)

I once read a theory that I think was a joke that the one piece was a giant tub stopper. With the fact that Vegapunk says the world is sinking, this may infact be real.
There is a gigantic drain and the land is going down it but there is a giant tub stopper to plug this drain. Roger saw this and laughed cause it was so stupid.

I really like the idea that the WG has been sinking the world for a long time in One Piece.
Besides the latest chapter confirming the sea rising. There is so much foreshadowing for how the WG have been doing this for a long time now.
Enies Lobby was when the WG last used whatever took out Lulusia. At that time - the water covered Water 7 and they had to build higher.
It seems ancient kingdoms like Water 7 and Wano had to build upwards and hide their ancient weapons/history to protect themselves. Or even Noahs Ark in Fishman island - another ancient reference to flooding.
No wonder the WG have made red line their home as they sink the rest of the world.
Bit of a stretch - but I think Sakazuki is aware of this goal to cleanse the world as Imu puts it.
When Sakazuki said last he was going to to take people out. He said he was going to sink them to the depths of the sea. Some would say this could be a reference to his logia awakening. Heat is another way to make the seas rise after all.
Since Imu is intent on sinking islands and raising waters globally as the latest chapter confirms. The link to reversing his name to umi meaning water in Japanese becomes all the more relevant.
Recent chapters seem to point to the flooding of OP being more and more true since this theory was mentioned way back during fishman island in the manga.
What are your thoughts on this?

I don't know how its dumb that the world is sinking? There have been signs that water is constantly rising and that it was all possible that islands were much bigger and probably even connected to other islands.

I really doubt it.

First off, it's heavily implied that Joyboy had the same fruit as luffy. Luffy and Joyboy (plus maybe one more) are the only ones who have awakened the fruit.

Second, Enies lobby WAS NOT destroyed by the same weapon. It was a buster call, not the mother frame.

Third, it's extremely unlikely that Luffy is gonna need to find some random fruit to have someone else do the actual saving of the world. That would be like I'd Luffy just started beating second in commands while Zoro took out the big boys.

Fourth, it is not likely that Akainu knows the plans, or about Imu. Given how he is questioning his job already, this does not seem likely. Although I could see him switching sides later if he does find out.

Personally, I think that the rising water level is Imus power because Imu is the exact opposite of Luffy, Joyboy, and is opposed to the will of D. It would make sense, considering that he called for a purge along with the water levels going up. It might take him a while to actually start ending things. Also it makes sense that he would have the opposite of a devil fruit.

IMU has the drain drain fruit. Joyboy made the tub stopper long ago. Tub stopper is made of rubber afterall.

I think it's more about what was there before Enies Lobby. The hole is exactly the same as what happened to Lulusia
