my dream Darkstalkers 4, which is the following:

  • its still 2D
  • it has hand-drawn animation for the characters and painted backgrounds for the stages, on par with Skullgirls and Cuphead, and retains the gothic horror Tex Avery anime aesthetic the older games had
  • it has every veteran back (there's only 18 of them)
  • they make at least...idk four? new characters that would fit right in with the old ones, and all still based on horror stuff (some ideas I had: witch, Invisible Man, dream weaver [basically Freddy Krueger, or Death 13 from Jojo], blob monster, calaca, big buff slasher villain-type guy, dullahan). Generally speaking I would want at least one newcomer that isn't a cute/sexy girl though obviously those are fine I just think that's not all the games are.
  • the gameplay is mostly the same as Vampire Savior's but with quality of life fixes, bug fixes, a more forgiving input system similar to those found in more modern Capcom fighting games, etc. - though any new ideas they have for mechanics (particularly defensive ones) are appreciated if done right, it is a very different beast from SF and Marvel, and I think preserving that is a key to the appeal
  • for other content, it has perfect online (including cross platform) and a perfect training mode
This game would take nine years to make and if advertised relentlessly might sell 500k.

I would buy it three times.

A Sims game that takes place in a GTA size city. You can interact with every NPC, go into any building (well with realistic open and closing times). Work, party, just live life.
Every day I wake up and promise I will be nice to everyone, then I deal with people at work and remember why that will never happen.

In addition to several of the above, a Mega Man oneshot spinoff set between ZX and Legends, in which ZXA's Thomas has successfully "reset" the world centuries past. I'm picturing like an Adult era OoT kind of nightmare world in which there are only two humans left and no reploids at all. Maybe the last reploid dies in the intro or something.

The humans are searching for the legendary lab of the above spoilers character, which it is said provides the only hope for humanity. And once they find it, well, they disagree on what to do with it and have to fight to determine the future of the world.

Hopefully it goes without saying, but The one human who survives the battle is The Master, and Thomas's lab contains technology to produce synthetic humans and build megastructures and stuff.

Phantasy star online blue burst remake.

All I want for sega to do is update the base combat system to something similar to what phantasy star portable 2 infinity used.(but keep og pso's extra attack button for the various rare weapon special abilities).

Other than that, everything else from the classic pso experience stays just with updated graphics, character models, effects, the stages, the way rates worked etc.

-An in-depth and well-designed crafting minigame
-An endgame loop focused on running dungeons for materials and then using those materials for crafting
-All endgame activities, with the possible exception of crafting, encourage but by no means require playing with others, and include a matchmaking option

So basically, an open world action RPG with an anime style where you can heavily customize your character, both in appearance and abilities, explore the world and power up by crafting items through an enjoyable minigame, and aim for an endgame where everyone gets to show off the avatars they worked so hard on~

You play as Freddie Mercury descending on Earth from the skies to command the unbelievers' souls and conquer all seven seas.

Also they use isolated vocal clips for his like ouch sound effects and stuff like on those old Freddie Mercury meme videos where the poor editing was the joke.

A game like Dragon's Dogma where you still have the pawn system but it's set up as an actual MMO where you can party with at least 1 friend and their main pawn and you can actually train your pawn to complement your or your group's fighting style

A Pokemon game where GameFreak actually tried and leveraged the technology we have in the 2020s instead of acting like it's the early 2000s

Division 1+2 but with larger environments and also where you can explore every building

Kirby Air Ride 2
Pokeymans platformer/ARPG where you can play as the pokeymans themselves but it's not just the most popular ones and it doesn't have microtransactions and doesn't suck
Kingdom Hearts Dissidia but non-canon

Actually, any kind of KH spinoff existing just for fun with no bearing on the plot. Kingdom Karts? Sorario Party? Let us play around with the cast and see them interact in a lighthearted setting without bending the plot into an even weirder pretzel to do it.

I literally had a dream called the Legend of Kirby. It was a 2D Zelda + Kirby crossover, where Kirby's abilities worked like Link's items, except you could only have one at a time, and had to solve difficult puzzles.

My dream game is a massive mmo pokemon game where you have access to the entire world and all the Pokemon. You can choose your starting region and starter pokemon based on that region. Their could be annual tournaments between players but outside of that and battling other real trainers out in the world it progresses similar to the games.

But then they implement another mode which replaces predetermined gym leaders with players, same with the Elite 4 and Champion.
