Seems like the game is probably a masterpiece that zoomer game reviewers just can't comprehendIt's a love letter to PS1 era game design, modernized just enough. It's amazing really.
Also, the music is great and the first duel in the game is fucking incredible, one of the best duel scenes in any Suikoden.Probably one of the most memorable scenes I've seen in modern RPGs honestly.
