Every country seems to be going towards far right insanity
As more rich people become more influential and powerful so does the realization that fascism is profitable, people used to think it was ridiculous that corruption in the government would go as far as to trigger things like Resident Evil or Fallout but it's how they keep their wealth and power while avoiding accountability for their disregard for human life. Cultural war issues are the greatest gift to the wealthy as it's given them a catch all term to instantly make the lower class start screaming at each other without actually thinking and perpetuating violence against one another while ignoring whose really fucking them over.
And it will keep happening again and again until the last humans die out, this selfish species only knows how to kill each other I feel so sorry for my teenaged niece and nephews their future is going to be hell pure hell where as the reset of my family and myself will simply see it happening and be powerless to stop it let alone set up a way to weather it
