Parents don't teach common sense anymore because they can just blame the internet, and go "You clearly don't have a child if you expected me to teach them not to set things on fire!"

A shame really. I have a daughter and something she doesn't understand, she knows to ask me or mom about it for guidance. This is something I've taught to her very early on. I normally don't have to very about her making bad choices as a result. Shame parents don't take the time to teach their young. Also there is such a thing as parental control on devices children use to access this.
