Because one is supposed to represent the platonic ideal of the concept of beauty itself and the other one's just a hot lady because Kojima likes hot ladies, and then when called on it he tried to justify/shame it with "when you hear why she wears that you will regret your words and deeds" or whatever and then the reason turned out to be one of the dumbest things anyone's ever heard and not a single person felt bad about it because it was always exactly what it seemed. At least when Yoko Taro was called on it over 2B he was honest and just said "because I like hot women" instead of trying to feign some deep meaning behind it, which is why he didn't get slammed for it like Kojima did.
This is like ya'll saying those statues of naked dudes and women in art museums are equivalent to looking at pictures of pornstars because both are nude people that people objectify.
(Actually the better example would be pictures/videos of super models at those insanely high end fashion shows where all the outfits look dumb as hell because they're avant garde or whatever VS pictures/videos of pornstars doing pornstar things, but whatever.)
Now for my entertainment, let's throw in ya'll thoughts on 2B and Bayonetta and how they stack up against Eve and Aphrodite in this conversation. If you want to make a clownshow for real we can throw Ivy and Sophitia in too.
