This is true, the more I think about it. I've barely seen anybody actually criticize the game, but I've seen a lot of people defending it from people supposedly attacking it.
Sadly I used to follow those kinds of people. One thing I noticed as I was getting out of it is that what they would normally be reacting to is Twitter posts with maybe 2 followers and they would pretend it was what the entire left believed.
I think they troll social media just looking for that one post from anybody that gives them the position they want to argue against. It works to drive engagement.
