How does anyone navigate the internet without adblock?

Ive had this page open for about an hour as a secondary reference tab, and my adblock has blocked 21 THOUSAND ads and popups in that time

Even on my phone, if I open an article in Safari instead of Brave (adblock built in) on accident, my phone will freeze up from the amount of popups. Most articles are literally unreadable on mobile without adblock

What happened to internet in the last few years? It hasnt ever been this bad before

Ads are a great way to discover new products and services, I always make sure ads are enabled. If you don't like them, you should enable tracking so that your ads can be more personalized to your tastes.

Google runs internet ads and decided there needs to be more ads. Eventually they will ruin their online services like this so I don't really mind.
