They sold fewer than 4000 trucks?no thats all they could produce people still on the waiting list for that shit
LOL.
Ouch. Wish they'd focus on the 25k evElon cancelled that project

LOL.
Elon cancelled that projectYeah, to focus on the self driving stuff right?
It's fucking hilarious how the pedal can slide up and lodge itself in a little crease that seems designed to perfectly fit the pedal so it'll stay stuck at full acceleration.
How that vehicle was allowed on the roads is insane.
Not surprising. I still kinda like how dumb they look. Reminds me of a PS1 game or another from around that time.
Blows my mind on a daily basis that tesla is still a company and its stock hasn't vertically dropped to zeroit should have cuz of elons dumb ass
Ouch. Wish they'd focus on the 25k ev

It also apparently handles weather about as well as the B-2 supposedly did.https://gizmodo.com/drive-through-car-wash-was-too- much-for-tesla-cybertruc-1851420356?_ga=2.46111136. 527277311.1713232099-1233644269.1670813474
Which is to say, its (lack) of coating means it deteriorates (via rusting) if you drive it in the rain too much, or get it washed the wrong way.
Blows my mind on a daily basis that tesla is still a company and its stock hasn't vertically dropped to zeroThey've sold a lot of cars. Really as simple as that
Not something that can be fixed through an update, right?
How the fuck does something like that pass quality control?what quality control the fitment on tesla and cybertrucks is nothing at all panel gaps galore
A software update could make the rule that the accelerator being pressed all the way down for more than, say, half a second is probably an unintended input that should be ignored. Boom, problem solved. Its still a huge problem, all that would do is avert the worst case scenario of a vehicle constantly accelerating nonstop. It's still dangerous to lose access to the accelerator inheriently

OK, then require the driver to tap out "shave and a haircut" to override. Gotta get that engineer mindsetif only tesla had the engineer mindset boom

Boom, problem solved.First off, that would imply killing the motor if you were doing it deliberately for whatever reason.
Real life Tony StarkWell, Tony before he got the shrapnel anyway...
How the fuck does something like that pass quality control? That's just it, it wouldn't. Luckily Tesla doesn't really have a quality control department and thanks to legal loopholes, Elon managed to avoid having to let the government do most (all?) or the usual safety tests on the cybertruck they perform on vehicles.
