How our draft went. The only major rule we have (and its a weird one) is that you can pick at max 3 players from one team, and then you have to spread out with a max of 2 players for every other team.

The first couple years they did the draft (before I jumped in) they found that most people would just grab like 7-8 players from one team and hope they went on a long run. We wanted to value research and forced spreading picks across multiple teams. Do you pick, for example, a depth player on a team you think might go far, or take a flyer on a star for a team you don't think will move on? Will Ovechkin in ONE series maybe get more points than a 3rd line guy for a team that goes to the conference finals?
