That's rough. How long would it take to get a replacement?Dunno, probably not until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week
damn, that sucks. what exactly seems to be wrong with it?Dunno, the boot screen wouldn't even come on. Think it's just doa
Motherboard seems to be a dud ._.
You sure it doesn't need a BIOS update? If nothing powers on except the power supply itself it's a dead mobo
If nothing powers on except the power supply itself it's a dead moboMy newest mobo wouldn't post until I updated the BIOS.
My newest mobo wouldn't post until I updated the BIOS.I would assume "screen doesn't come on" means no BIOS.
Dunno, the boot screen wouldn't even come on. Think it's just doaBy chance you didn't just yolo the install and slap everything together, did you?
I would assume "screen doesn't come on" means no BIOS.Depending on the mobo you can still flash a new BIOS even without it posting. On mine I put a USB stick with an updated BIOS file in the designated slot and pressed the BIOS Flashback button.

It might be your ram is installed in the wrong slots for a two stick configuration. (Did that exact thing and it wouldn't boot )
They need to be installed in slots B2 and A2 for some dumb reason iirc, not B1 and A1.
We tried everything including moving the ram and double checking all the cables. The GPU seemed to work and the power supply came on but none of the usbs registered anything and a boot screen never came updid it beep at you at all? depending on what stage in the boot up process it is able to get to, computers will give you a beep code to relay the results of the Power-On Self Test, and you can look up what the pattern of the beeps mean.
Some motherboards have a digital display to show error codes. Does yours have this? Is your monitor plugged into the GPU or the motherboard itself? If GPU, try plugging into the motherboard for this in case the motherboard isn't set to the GPU yet.It doesn't have a display as far as I know. We tried plugging the monitor into the motherboard too
