I don't get this joke. I have no recollection of a character named Penello. Is this some sort of side character that gives you a really tough Hunt quest or something?
I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness.

That doesn't sound right. I'm pretty sure you're thinking of Tifa and mixing up Vaan with Cloud.

penelo actually has a decent design she just has no real role in the story
you could lift vaan penelo out of the story all together and very little would need to be altered to steal work

fran doesnt even have a decent design
her outfit is stupid
a metal thong would pinch and not be combat effective

I really don't understand why people hate vaan and penelo so much tbh, they're not bad for what they are : symbols of rabanastre in the eyes of Ashe. And they're not particularly annoying either. I don't really hate anyone in that crew tbh

This implies they even had characters to hate, let alone feel any emotion about. Hell Im not even sure why they tagged along for the adventure. Same goes for the air pirate guy and his bunny partner. The characters really were the weakest aspect of that game tbh.
