My work legitimately encourages you to stay home when sick becsuse they dont want you spreading it to everyone else.
I get 18 paid sick days a year separate from my vacation and other benefits. If you are done 3 consecutive days they like you to bring a note that you went to a drs appointment. Anything less than that nothing required and they dont care.
