Im allowed up to 15 days per year sick leave on full pay, no questions asked. Given that I only work for 170 days per year, thats more than enough.

They cant and dont give me a hard time for using them. Theyre part of my package and if they didnt want me using them then they shouldnt have put them into my contract.

I feel no guilt taking sick days. Sometimes I just take hangover days.
