Fandom's Statement on Transphobia

Im not pushing anything, it is transphobic period. Ive seen these BS defenses played out time and time again with certain segments of anime and manga fans, where ideologues are more interested in protecting their hobby than acknowledging problematic elements for what they are.
Immediately thought of the One Piece fans who refuse to acknowledge Yamato as a trans man because "she[sic] is just roleplaying as Oden" and ignoring all the other clear-as-day ways that he obviously identifies as male outside of that hero worship.

Or the Jojo fans who still use he/him for Dragona just because one character in the story refers to her as such, even though Dragona presents 100% as female and even takes injections to alter her body.

Anime/manga fans can be some of the worst transphobes.
