I genuinely never got the appeal of these guys. The Halo videos were boring as fuck and the anime was just ugly to look atI liked Red Vs Blue. RWBY started to look better around Volume 4 but the fight animation was generally worse, which I felt was the main draw. Couldnt really help that though, Monty Oums choreography was amazing.
How does it feel knowing Red vs Blue, Death Battle, RWBY, etc etc will now be shelved forever due to this?Death Battle constantly got everything wrong. Didn't like RvB or RWBY.
Death Battle constantly got everything wrong. Didn't like RvB or RWBY.Oh, these are the people behind Death Battle?
I thought some of those were at least amusing, even if I frequently felt like they missed something important or stacked the deck wrong.Yeah, their sense of humor was what I liked about Death Battle. I'm probably being too hard on them with the win decisions. There's just too much content and no author consistency.
What is RWBY?
eh, oh well. Sucks for the folks that lost their job, but basically everybody interesting left or got crowded out by new talent years ago. Even Funhaus lost everyone except the Willems. In the farewell video, it's pretty much just Geoff and Jack as the recognizable ones. Michael and Gavin apparently already moved out of state and weren't even in the video.

That is what I got by simply typing it into a search.
Gavin apparently already moved out of stateSlo mo guys kept separate from RoosterTeeth right?

Is this with the scythe weapon girl?

thats what happens when you basically sell your soulThey actually said as much at PAX East. They're kind of glad they never took the offer, but they were very close to it.
Mega64 never grew as big as RoosterTeeth
but they're still themselves
Haven't watched since I unsubbed years ago, but it's still sad to hear. I got into them around 2013 and fell completely off after Burn left. I didn't necessarily dislike the new additions, but a lot of the content was missing that "friends dicking around" aspect.Same. Without Burnie the crew didn't have the right chemistry for me. Not too uncommon of an opinion either, since a lot of people stopped tuning in after he left. Doesn't surprise me Rooster Teeth is closing
Rip Funhaus though.
I got into them very late, around 2018-19. Never got into RvB or RWBY. For me it was Achievement Hunter and Let's Play. I hope they keep the YouTube stuff up, but don't have much hope. I like it for background noise while I work.Worst case, the community has built up an archive, so the content should hopefully never really disappear.
