Aliens almost certainly will not be attractive to human standards. They will likely look weird as fuck. If they actually do turn out to look similar enough to humans as to make us attracted to them, I believe that would mean only 1 thing. That some very ancient species went around the Galaxy, seeding the same or similar DNA on many planets.
