What do you think the early games for the Switch 2 will be?

A new 3D Mario? A new Donkey Kong? Super Smash Bros 6? Mario Kart 9?

Maybe it won't have any games when it comes out. That would be sad.

Legends ZA is basically confirmed to be a early Switch 2 title.

I'm hoping Metroid Prime 4 is. And my more longshot dream is the Genealogy of the Holy War remake that's been rumored forever now.

Id imagine that a new Mario, Mario Kart and Smash will be released fairly early on if not exactly at launch, plus some sort of definitive edition of TotK.

Mario Maker 3 for sure. Super Mario Wonder felt like it was made so it could be mined for SMM assets

Early games probably next Mario Kart, 3D Mario, Metroid Prime 4, Pikmin. Probably anticipate a new Zelda trailer, but no game till way later.

We don't know if it's early. Just that it's 2025.

Legends Arceus had sold 14 million lifetime so far. It could be a successful launch game, but it won't sell we much as a 3D Mario at Launch, unless it ends up being two versions. But still, I think it's possible.

I think Nintendo wants a strong launch and holiday.

What could happen:

Q1 2025 3D Mario or Pokemon Legends AZ.
Q2 2025 MP4
Q4 2025 Pokemon Legends AZ or 3D Mario

if I were Nintendo, I'd make 3D Mario Switch 2 exclusive. They can ease switch owners by releasing the Mario game in holiday 2025. A 3d exclusive Mario in Q1 2025 could really drop switch sales fast.

The next Mario kart should be ready by end of 2025, but releasing it next year with Pokemon and 3D Mario is overkill. Nintendo knows better.

I want the console to be called the Switcheroo. Needs this as a launch title:

Pikmin 4 just came out last summer. I don't see 5 for a other 2-4 years.
