When did anybody do that? This is a very disingenuous reading of what I said. Nobody is cheering because they think Iran is awesome. They are cheering for Israel getting some kind of consequence, particularly given the contextual irony of the phrase "Israel has the right to defend itself".

Disliking Israel absolutely could be seen as being anti Semitic by the official definition. Its why tend to err on the side of caution and criticise specific policies / actions / the government.
