I'd love to have the D&D set but I'm physically and mentally incapable of justifying spending $360 on it
I ended up splitting it up with PayPal Pay in 4 just to make it not look like $360 lol...That is an awesome set, though it's $500 here in Australia.
I do not regret it though... It's a fantastic set with so many little details in it...
This is my castle display above my desk. I may extend the shelf eventually so I can add the medieval town square and space things out a bit more.

this was the biggest set I had as a kid. I brought it to a friend's house one day and dropped it. never found all the pieces
Holup. The sails aren't cloth anymore? Is that just this set, or just how it is these days?
the smaller ship in another set still has cloth sails but these ones are plastic pieces
Gotcha
No idea why, but as a kid I either couldn't or just didn't have the patience to try, to like string the sails, so my pirate ships were always finished without them
the ropes in this set are flexible rubber things. but the tension they provide actually works well to keep the masts steady, they were very wobbly without them.

In case anyone was interested, my Target started selling these about a week and a half early in store...

Lego has them listed for May 1st...
The rumour is that we are getting a Jabba's Sail Barge for the UCS set this year.
I had this one as a kid

My parents sold all my Legos in a garage sale when they sold the house, still sad about that
1260 pieces, it was $99 at Target. That aint nuffin. My The Office set was almost 2,000.
Ill post pics but this might take a few days, my cat is very distracting
I checked the prices for some of the ninja setsThey post the instructions online now
$400+ for the small castle. $700+ for the fortress
my only consolation is that I definitely didn't keep all the pieces together, so even a used set would be impossible to put together
I had this one as a kidOh hell.those sets and even the minifigs are worth a pretty penny now.
