I mean as I've aged I still love video games but do get less satisfaction out of them (especially grinding games). I'm 37 now and time is flying, I try to get out and experience the world first hand to an extent

I've never encountered that feeling. I still enjoy pretty much everything I used to enjoy, and plenty of new things, too.
