Killed the franchise for me.

5 was a GOAT coop game. But 6 legit sucked.
Which is a weird opinion to me, because aside from there being 4 underdeveloped scenarios that had potential, we get one super mediocre one, but those 4 underdeveloped was have more fluent controls than 5.

I haven't played all of them but it seems like six is the most widely hated.

Of the ones I played, none were actually bad games. Even five was decent when I was playing it. Way better once use a mod to remove the green filter. Two remake was good but I really wasn't impressed like I had been with 7 or 4.

I'm currently playing through eight and four remake is probably next.

I actually really liked the shooting in 6. Felt super meaty and punchy.
Ghosts are cool.
