yeah like i get no dopamine whatsoever from story-less checklisting

its work

especially when there are mechanics to prevent the checklisting

Stardew has tons of progression and with the right mods you can play it like a mini factorio

I love Animal Crossing... It's a relaxing game and it's nice to jump on a bit everyday and see what new stuff you can get... Also having your own place to customize however you want is nice...

animal crossing on original DS is one of the greatest games of all time. the switch version is alright, but the villagers are TOO nice :(

stardew valley's also up there as one of my favorite games. I've played it waaaay too much tho, even have the golden clock on one of my farms.

Gamecube villagers got downright vicious. If you were a dick to them, they gave it back to you.

And I put over 100 hours into Stardew Valley on Switch years ago, and reading about the updates makes me want to play it again.
...I think I'm done here...
Wasn't Dung playing it on his steam deck while taking a long flight though his job in the city sucked his will to live.

I don't get Animal Crossing, but Stardew eh I think I just really want to play it with someone now lol I started a new farm but I am just annoyed how my mining isn't going well and my weapon sucks. Maybe I should go back to my old farm from 2016. I still have it lawl.

Its a genre I honestly love. But Im more into the farming centralized aspects like Harvest Moon (now Story of Seasons) and one of my favorite series ever is the spinoff series Rune Factory. I fucking love these type of games, but I totally get why some people dont.

I killed stupid amounts of time on Animal Crossing just fishing to make money and looking for shit to turn into the museum when I started. If a game has fishing in it, it always takes up a bunch of my time.
