My man. I used to feel this way until I went back and played both and now I think 1 is better again. But 2 is almost as good and definitely better in some ways, just has a few minor flaws holding it back.
I don't find the beam ammo system to be much of an issue and I like the Dark World mechanic, but I do hate fighting Dark Pirate Commandos and there's no point anyway bc unless you get lucky with super charged beacons and powerbombs you wont kill them all before they fuck off.
