Most poly people I know talk about it as a fundamental part of their sexuality, like being gay or straight or what have you. I'm not poly, I don't need multiple partners, so the Identity never felt like it suited me. If my primary partner is mono, then I'm mono. If they are poly then I'm poly. I don't have strong opinions about it one way or the other and I don't miss being poly when I'm mono and I don't miss being mono when I'm poly.
You're just pretty low maintenance then, I guess?
I don't think I would be capable of a non monogamous relationship.
