I personally think Android saga was better and overall the best saga out of the whole DBZ series. But I can see the argument for the Namek saga.

Android Saga is my favorite of the series. Part of that is probably because that's where I started watching, then went back to the Saiyan and Namek sagas later on.
The answer to the question nobody asked.

android has some cool stuff, but it hinges entirely on everyone passing along the idiot ball (same for Buu for that matter)

Im more of a casual fan than an expert so to clarify Cell is considered part of the Android Saga right? Because I think that was such a highlight of the series for me. I like Gohan as kid Gohan and I absolutely love when he takes on Cell. That was a peak moment for me and some of the highlights in the series to me.

Both were amazing, I think Namek slightly edges because Frieza vs. Goku is such a GOAT tier fight.

What I loved about Android Saga was the mystery and intrigue surroudning the big bad players. And the Z warriors having to play detective to get to the bottom of it leading up to Cell. It was very intriguing and no ark feels quite like it.

I'd hope so. Otherwise this would be a battle between the Namek Saga pre-Ginyu Force's arrival through Android Saga before Cell shows up.
