There is no reason to live in Midtown in an apartment this small rather than look in Queens or Brooklyn. I grew up in Sunnyside somewhere near Queens Boulevard before moving to Jersey for school, but just a quick search around that area I can find apartments around the same price I'm paying here in Tampa.
