I only knew it because of the Crazy Frog meme back in 2007 or so.

That video also now has 4.4B views on YT. It's timestamp is June 16, 2009.

According to Google, the original song was created in 1984.

Yeah, I've seen some people complained that the Crazy Frog version is way more popular, so much too popular in fact, that people thought it's the original version.

If you have seen the Dragon Warrior monster chart back when it was new, you could see the Ghost family in the game was based off of Ghostbusters.

In fact the "Specter" enemy was listed as "Supernatural. Sly. Strong. This ghost will not be an easy one to bust"
