But the DLC level design and each area end boss was amazing. Sans the Snowfield, of course.
If we are but brief cracks of light between two infinite darknesses, why do anything but flicker and extinguish?

I quite liked DS2, though I only played SotFS edition. I hear that's usually considered worse? So fine, I liked the worse version.

I've only played the main campaign, but I liked how it at least tried to add new stuff for NG.

I actually liked the snow part in Ivory King. It was a fun place filled with reindeer for that extra Christmas spirit. As much as I like Lud and Zallen it was disappointing that every third boss in all DLC were just palette swapped bosses.

The DLC is the best thing about DS II and Crown of the Old Iron King is the best DS II DLC.

The Frigid Outskirts was fine, but those Ice Stags were a cheap annoyance. I killed them all.

Dark Souls 2 is fire. But that's also because there's no such thing as a bad Souls game.

And yes, I refer to vanilla and SotFs as both good!
