Wokeness is identifying injustices and discrimination in society -- typically based on race, sex and gender -- and taking steps to correct it.
A good example is "muslim terrorists so no muslim here!!!! travel ban!!!" like every Muslim is a terrorist. Newsflash: most Muslims leaving their home countries are doing so to distance themselves from things like oppressive Sharia and authoritarian governments. They want liberalism, even liberalism-lite.
It's not that hard.
