Gonna watch it right now, but for those of you who have already seen it, feel free to post.
Without truth, there is nothing.
I didn't care much for this episode. Nothing too interesting happened till the end, and it was just a bit of a cliffhanger for a future episode.

We need the guys that made Shredder Revenge to make an X-men game.

That was weird. Abscissa and Lifedeath in the same episode.

Okay, the pixel scenes were pretty awesome, but the first half of the episode just felt like filler. Second half was great but I'm not familiar with the creature that showed up at the end.

Not sure why they thought it was a good idea to split the two stories in one episode. Probably would have been better to just have this episode be shorter and Lifedeath be longer next week.

The picture of Peter David's X-Factor was sweeeet though

Also Bastion was in one of the pics.

I remember they did split episodes like this in the original so its on brand.

I was sooo hoping that the simulation would glitch out and have Magneto say Welcome to die!

The original series never did a split episode. So many others at the time did though, so it's justifiable.
It's the side effects that save us.

I think he meant more that they did episodes with separate storylines. You're right though, I don't remember them ever doing a completely split story like this. They often bounced back and forth between separate stories in the same episode, which often lead to 2-parters. The first episode about Genosha is like this.

edit: I was under the impression that the new kid was supposed to be Sunfire, but then he shows up in the background.

It's Roberto DaCosta, aka Sunspot from The New Mutants.
