Denis Villeneuves Dune is better than everything except New Hope and Empire.
More to do with the humidity than heat

Only seen the recent dune adaptations. I'd put them below the Clone Wars cartoon, the OT and Revenge of the Sith, but above the rest of the movies.

Tried reading Dune when I was younger, but wasn't into it.

If expanded material like books are included, then Star Wars all the way. Even Star Wars' missteps like the Vong pales in comparison to the later Dune books where a character turns into a sandworm.

I have zero interest in Dune. Im not much of a Star Wars fan but I can at least say growing up I did enjoy the original trilogy.

Dune ainec for me.

Star Wars is somewhat entertaining, but I never managed to really get into it, while reading Frank Herbert's Dune in my late teens was quite the revelation to me.
