To the surprise of no one, there are patients who will read a nurse's name on the After Visit Summary and proceed to send them friendship invites on social media.

This nurse hasn't personally complained about that, but another one did.

Her conversations always feel a little flirty. She'll seemingly go out of her way to stop by and say hi to me. She'll make a mountain out of a molehill so that she can tease me about it with a smile on her face. Today, she made fun of my name at length. I can't post excerpts of the conversation without giving my name away. I don't know if it was true flirting, but it felt like it.

Not that I've listened in on her other conversations, but it feels a little different than when she talks to other people. She's always smiling and upbeat whomever she's talking to. She's probably just comfortable talking to me the way that she does because the disparity between us is enough that I "won't get the wrong idea."
