And paid sick leave of fucking course.

The company loses money to extra firing/training/sales lost to short staffing.

Heck I bet the rate of accidents at workplaces would drop as well which means less workman's comp and ruined product.

I already live where that's standard lol.

12 days paid sick days per year (accrues at many companies/unless you have enough annual leave to cover it), 4wks annual leave per year (accrues at most companies)

In my country it is

20 PTO days a year is the legal minimum, with many jobs offering 30+ thanks to union mandates

unlimited sick leave, and often you only need a doctor's note after the first three days

Yeah, technically Im not paid for holidays but Im paid a very good salary and its pro-rata anyway and Im off for 18 weeks of the year anyway, plus public holidays, so I cant complain.

For many people and though, theyre just getting shafted by not having paid holiday and sick days.
