He is absolutely going to mostly take votes from Trump. I don't think it'll matter either way but the Kennedy-obsessed conspiracy base is going to be his main demographic.
Trump should have picked him as VP to fulfilling the QAnon prophecy of JFK Jr becoming Trumps Vice President but then they could have said we didnt mean JFK JR, we meant RFK Jr lol
