The Supreme Court rolled back Roe v Wade, which is actually a really unpopular thing to do for both parties. They continue to make rulings along ideological lines, meaning they quite literally are shaping the rule of law in the country by completely ignoring their political enemy and ruling along whatever their beliefs dictate. They don't care about compromise.
