Yeah, it seems interchangeable in theory on a basic definitional basis, pansexuality just puts more focus on other areas outside the classic dichotomy.

largely interchangeable in practice, if someone identifies as one and not the other that's entirely their business.
I feel like people who identify as bi would mostly just be attracted to people who identify as male or female, yeah?
while someone who's pansexual might also be attracted to non-binary/androgynous/other people. or they might just not care about sexuality at all, only if a person is attractive to them
