I feel like I made the page read notably better. The angle of the top right head though... seems off. If anyone knows how to make that look better than the way I did, please share with me the power.

Thanks! I think I'm going to do an icy-ish lighting for the left one. I really like dramatic lighting with dark backgrounds but hers will probably be less dramatic

Finished forreal probably. Might put a full res version on instagram later.

In particular, I really like the flame and frost effects. I've tried flames a few times, but it never really feels congruous with the rest of what I've drawn, and I would've found it hard to picture how to convey a frost effect, but it looks excellent to me.

For sure I cheated with the effects on the hands. Procreate has a flame brush I used on the right and a smoke brush on the left. Then some strokes with the star brush and you have frost. For the fire after the brush I upped the bloom a bit. The backgrounds were done by hand though.

I finally made Knuckles after making Amy last year and Sonic and Tails the year before. Also Pearl and Marina (in squid/octo form) from Splatoon. The marker on the eyes was all smudged in this pic, but whatever.
