"Adjust brightness until the logo is barely visible"

BITCH, I can lower the slider to one pixel away from pure black and still see the logo, but I know if I set it that way, the whole game will be an ugly, overcontrasted mess.

Just no consideration for people with good eyesight, cause y'all are nerds with Hubble-ass lenses in your glasses, y'all get no Sun, fuck you, fuck your horse armor

It would be better to load the player into a tiny area with a few example light sources and then have the ability to adjust in the game environment.
With hdr on i just max out the brightness and it still looks ok to me lol

adjust it to the level that you like the most
AMD is the best company in the history of computing!
I think it's one of those things where they have to anti-exaggerate because most people really have no concept of what it means to NOT think in extremes.

For example, when a recipe tells you to SLOWLY mix in such and such ingredient, you can actually just pour it in normally. They just know that if they don't say SLOWLY, they'll have people burning down the house by triple front flip slam dunking the ingredient in.

Similarly, they say adjust until you can barely see the logo because most people are gonna say they can barely see it when it's not literally black on white.
This is no where near comparable to video games' extremely poor sound mixing and tiny text font size...

Video games usually do ok with mixing. It's movies that eff it up. I gave up years ago and just watch with subtitles these days because I got sick of oscillating the volume up to hear people talking normally and then suddenly a gun goes off and wakes up the entire town.
