I tried to play the first one several years ago and didn't enjoy it. This second one looks fun though after watching a few reviews. I was thinking about getting it. I've heard people mention there's no real fast travel system aside from horse and carriage rides or something. Then I saw this.

Is this really DLC to fast travel? That's insane.

The Fast Travel is the same as the first with some additions. Meaning portcrystals/ferrystones can be obtained in game, same as last time.
If you didn't like the first, I doubt you'd like this one either

afaik, the DLC give you an extra fast travel point you can put where you want but you get some in the main game story anyway.
ooh
Portcrystals are available behind mtx. But you can find them normally as well. Whoever puts out a guide to where to find said portcrystals first will get tons of clicks.

Okay I'm going to delete this topic then because I didn't fully understand the game when I asked the question and it seems like I'm unjustly shitting on it where I really was more curious.

You can close the topic, but there is no deleting it unless a mod takes mercy on your soul

Microtransactions in Capcom games are generally stuff you can get in game.

Same thing applies to street fighter 6 and resident evil games
ooh
I regret buying this on Fanatical to save a few bucks because I want to refund this shit so bad

Honestly we may get a juicy topic full of people venting about the dlc vs ppl defending it so it may be worth it to keep it up for a lil just to see how it goes
No closing

The only bad thing here is that the mtx you can buy in-game is hella expensive. Because of course it is.
