And the NPCs that teach you vocations don't have escort requests until after they teach you the vocation so even if he did perma die (which I doubt like the victims of the pawn AIDS) it doesn't matter.you could have said that first
HannibalBarca3 posted... Is the wayfarer class any good? I've heard it lets you wear any type of gear but posts on reddit are saying it sucks.
Might want to take a chill pill and stop reading anything Dragon's Dogma for a while champcan we not do the cringy "champ" shit and puffing out your chest and getting combative with me over the video game thing? take your own chill pill and just enjoy the game if you enjoy it instead of starting shit with me over nothing
sad to say it, but i agree with people saying 2's a disappointment, Dark Arisen's better, etc. the game has been a massive timesink, and i found myself asking why i'm playing, and not having an answer besides sunk cost. without even knowing it, a quest in battahl took me right to the end of the game, so i loaded a previous save, but now i'm just sitting here like, what the fuck do i do now? just backtrack and wander around for hours, hoping there's at least a couple more late-game quests i didn't miss? what's the point? just to get a couple pieces of gear that are worse than what you can buy at the last shop before the boss? where were all the cool dungeons like the first game had? i explored plenty, nothing fucking happens in the game world, no quests take you on a big adventure, you just walk from one city to another, over and over until the game ends
and then there's the endgame area. it's fucking timed. run out of time, start new game+ automatically, no new content, shotgun through the main quest, start the timed endgame, run out of time, automatically start new game+, shotgun through the main quest, etc etc. there's no point
oh and each forgery took about 2 days of waiting. They should only take 1.
I'm not disappointed by the game. I'm quite enjoying it still. I've played sparingly over the last week or so, and my character is level 25. I can't say I'm disappointed that this game feels just like Dragon's Dogma 1.5 instead of Dragon's Dogma 2, but all I wanted was more Dragon's Dogma. I'm hoping the DLC addresses a lot of the complaints associated with the game. The high CPU cost in town is unacceptable. I have a current Gen PC and a current Gen CPU. My 7600x should not be a bottleneck. We shouldn't need the expansion in November to fix these issues though & I know you agree with that. Hate that I was excited for this & after so long it just took a shit in my lap
They should only take 1.
I knocked it off in about 5 minutes.
Drop off tome.
Walk left, sit on bench.
Press "doze off" exactly four times.
Walk back, receive obvious knockoff, repeat.

My issues are those that can be fixed with patches. Fix the performance issues is mostly what I want right now. I'm still enjoying the core loop of the gameplay, so don't wait for my opinion on that. I'm enjoying just exploring and filling out my map. The battles, while numerous, aren't so insurmountable that I can't blitz through them in a few seconds. I'm far less annoyed by the frequent battles and skirmishes in Dragon's Dogma 2 than I am by the frequent battles in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.Which is more annoying, constant battle interruptions in DD2, or Chadley in Rebirth lol
oh guys I noticed that shadows are fucked for me in SDR (constantly wavy shadows) but in HDR it looks fine idk why
They look shitty as hell until they actually render up close. Probably the most distracting thing about the graphic quality outside of the massive performance issues in metro areas. Is that mostly a PC thing?
No spoilers but is there any reason to do the main story quest right when you get to the first major town? Kinda just wanna explore
Why are all the caves I've been in have blocked off exits? I fought for my god damn life against an ogre in a cave with a quarter of my max health cuz I couldn't find a camp nearby only to get to an exit completely blocked. Then I found another exit that was completely blocked. So I had to go all the way back to the entrance smhFrom what I've seen theres a lot of dungeons that have one specific "entrance" and all the other access points are "exits" and if you go in from the exit side you'll end up hitting those doors that only open from the other side.
You gotta time Maelstrom right for the full whammy.
I had a Griffin with a solid 2 or 3 bars left, knew he was gonna fall down soon.
Started Maelstrom, he fell down, finished Maelstrom.
I no longer had a Griffin.
THAT is very interesting news.
I fucking hate golems.

Survey for the game, everyone if you can, find time to put all the complaints issues & what they're doing right in here. Maybe Crapcom can repair the game to an excellent state if they're looking for feedback
What I disliked: I dislike the horrible optimization on PC, Denuvo DRM, the utterly pointless Day 1 DLC (seriously, stop it), the lack of impact from random encounters, and lack of variety in random encounters. I haven't played far enough to get a sense of the story.Fuck I forgot to mention Denuvo because I'm on PS5, thank you for doing it & agree with all the rest.

Luality is intrusive thoughts personified.
https://www.enqform.capcom.com/form/pub/form1/dd2_en2Imma beg for extra spell slots and to buff maelstrom and to add back holy light balls

Omg lol that spell looks awesomeThey get another ability that's a HUGE windup swing.
Trickster seems pretty shitty.
Plus I started using it immediately before a quest forced me into a one on one fight.
Tricksters can't deal damage alone.
Golems wouldn't be so bad if they didn't run out of weakpoints and then force you to wait around and do nothing until the last one on its arm lights up for 10 seconds before going into rage mode.for real, this is obnoxious
for real, this is obnoxious
Apparently the Seism spell on Sorcerers wrecks Golems? Haven't tried myself yet.Seism and Maelstrom can delete golems like they're nothing, honestly.
