No, the opposite. I got married too young. And after my divorce, I became a serial monogamist. People kept telling me I should spend time being single.

I wouldn't say "harassed" but I've gotten a few "SOOOO, when are you and your partner getting married? HMMMM?!?" from the occasional friend and family conversation.
Remember that I won't rest, 'til we share the same tense

Not in the pressure to get married sense, but in the racism sense. The older people in my family were bothered that I was marrying a non-white woman, to which I said Dont worry youll be dead soon anyway.

Oh yeah, my mom has bugged me several times. I told her there wasn't a chance in hell I'd ever get married-- I dodged that bullet in my 20s.

A female friend has 'suggested' that I find a good woman to settle down with on 1 occasion too, but when I laughed in her face she dropped it & never brought it up again.

Vaguely. One of my uncles (while drunk at his daughters wedding) started in with "when are you (guys) gonna get married" because me and my brother are the only ones in the immediate family who aren't married.

The same wedding my uncles tried to give me shit about not trying for the garter belt. Like sorry I don't want to peek at my cousins beaver, dude.
