How's Rogue's ass? Is it redeemed or did they soil it?
Its been years since I've seen the original. Do I need to watch the original cartoon to jump into this one?
They did good.Think that cliffhanger is going into Goblin Queen/Inferno. They made Cyclops boss the first 2 episodes but if they follow the arc he's about to look like a piece of shit
I haven't seen. What streaming site is it on?
As someone who doesn't really care for non adult animation anymore, but a huge fan of the original cartoon as a kid, is it worth watching? It's what, 10 episodes?
I remember about 15 years ago, I tried rewatching the show and honestly, it just didn't jive with me anymore. I found it boring and melodramatic, but as a kid, I was 100% enthralled.
its hard to watch because it doesn't age well for me
I weeped at how bad it isMotherfucker! They denied us the most important part of this show!

it is very much firmly a kid's show of its era. i'm glad that era of animation is pretty much over with. up until pretty recently people just assumed kids were too stupid to follow more serious and/or over-arching plots instead of villain of the week situations.

I feel its gotten worst, now we only have clearly adult shows like Invincible or brain dead simple hero shows like the most recent Marvel hero cartoons. 90's X-men had its flaws but pepole really don't realize how vital it was for it, 90's Spiderman and Batman for leading to Superhero shows having any plot at all compared to the throw away filler that most super hero' shows were before it like" Spiderman and friends."
There's been a lot of changes to animation and series like Invincible would be something I'd watch when I was the same age I was watching X-Men.
agreed. I feel like Avatar was a pioneer of over arching plots. Code Lyoko too.
With all the sex and extreme violence...not sure Invincible is really something kids starting school should see I suppose.
anime too. its popularity showed that kids are more than capable of following a long running plot even if said show is broadcast on a weekly schedule instead of daily.

I weeped at how bad it isNo sexy women allowed! Down with the patriarchy!
Also I hope they don't go into the "multiverse" direction with Xmen 97 with that ending for episode 2.
Without spoiling anything I can guarantee it has nothing to do with multiverse shenanigans.
Disney+Oh, then most likely terrible.
