Does that sound okay so far?...

Now say i ordered a meal kit from chipotle and the total was 58$. Still okay?

Doorsash driver doing same work maybe a little bigger bag than i ordered a burrito for 20$ delivery. But 6$ would be great for a 20$ delivery and over 20% whereas some people might say im cheap for only tipping 6$ for a 60$ order.

Or just go pick it up yourself. They make $15 an hour now.

it's the cheaper option. by the time it takes to walk/run 8 miles the food will be cold. his/her feet will be barking from the pain. paying someone the delivery fee + tip is the better option.

also to note: 10% is standard for tipping (it's good enough).

Submit a ticket to DourDash and see if they'll help you. I don't DourDash often but I remember the one time I did the driver forgot to get me ketchup, napkins and silverware when I specifically ask for them. Called DourDash and they refund me like 2 bucks.

Ignore those two posters. They'll always automatically assume you're some lazy person with no hindering situation.

Lol at feeling obliged to tip delivery drivers.

I will tip my delivery drivers, because if I'm feeling lazy and just want to order food I tip for their service. I don't tip anymore on picking up takeout call-in orders.

Used to tip a couple bucks but now I mainly just get from local restaurants and the price increases have been so high, that I will still support them but I'm no longer tipping an extra $2-$5 on a $25+ pickup order.

Well if you don't they don't deliver

It's not a tip, it's a bid

And yet they deliver to me with no expectation of a tip

The food when it arrives will also be cold.

What are you talking about? I order loads of food for delivery. Literally all of my meals are either delivered or eaten at restaurants.
I personally wouldn't have tipped

Less chance of someone messing with your food if you get it yourself. The food employees could I guess.
