We have a local baseball team that is part of the collegiate summer league and they periodically do stuff where it is like $20 to get in to a certain section and it is all the brats/hot dogs you want to eat and all the beer you want to drink. Pretty good deal for an afternoon or evening of live baseball. Always thought that was kind of nice.

The Dollar Dog thing was only started because the Phillies needed to get butts in the seats at the Vet, which was huge and the team stunk at that time. Theyve long since stopped having a problem selling seats at CBP and were actually considering ending it to begin with. The clowns who were throwing them were the final straw and now its over.
