it isn't.

a few people here talk about guns passionately. ~44% of american households have a gun
I could see you, but I couldn't hear you You were holding your hat in the breeze Turning away from me In this moment you were stolen...

@akagami_shanks Did you decide what RMR your gonna put on it/ if any? I just ordered my P-10 and debating if I want to run an optic on it. Comes with supressor height sights so I'll at least be good there with my can on it until I decide what I wanna do.
I have an amazon bought optic on it, it was still like $150, but I don't plan on shooting every day so it does the job fine for me. AT3 tactical

Glock 19 acquired, pictured with one of the unfortunate 10 round mags it was forced to be sold with.

This photo taken by my trusty potato shows the upgraded sights. Big yellow dot up front which you line up with the U-notch in the back. The pistol I rented had these and immediately liked how easy it was to line up when shooting, so I snagged a set for mine.

Overall I'm pretty happy. The full-sized Glock17 I have would be too cumbersome to carry, and the 43x I had was just too small.

Next step is getting some non-restricted magazines. Which is hopefully soon, as there's rumor a judge will put an injunction on the mag ban as early as tomorrow.

I plan on getting an optic cut slide for the G17, eventually. For the carry gun, I dunno. I'll feel it out on the full sized first, then go from there.

and when you miss because you've never shot someone before and sever the artery in their leg?

or miss entirely and get shot by them
Ive been shooting and hunting since I was 10. I dont think Ill miss a person coming at me. Might feel a little remorse if they die, but Im not the one threatening my life.

If you shoot someone in the knee there's a very good chance you will hit an artery. If you shoot someone you have to be okay with the likely chance that you will kill them.
Im ok with that.

send it to wager machine works and get it direct milled. It would cost you less than a whole new slide, and has an optic cover plate like an mos if you ever decided you wanted to take it off for some reason

once you start shooting with optics, you wont want to go back to irons. Bill drill quicker, quicker transitions, I can hit 8 steel consistently at 100 yards. Allows you to be a lot more target focused, because youre not lining anything up once you get presentation down. You just look at your target, look for the color (green or red) and shoot.

a tiny deep concealment gun, yeah I would not do it. On a 19, yeah adding about 3/4 height to back on the slide is not a problem for me.

I wouldnt add one to your carry gun until youve gotten proficient with the nightstand one though. Takes a while to get used to it.
