Yeah, Japanese is so much more interesting with shouganai and mendokusai happening all over all the time.
I haven't been following the localization talk about this game and obviously anyone who tries to connect it with "woke" is stupid but thinking that localizer changes will always be better than the original because the original Japanese is always inherently inferior as if localizers often aren't cliche themselves, sometimes even more, is itself problematic
