That's a lot of dead cap money the Broncos are going to have pay Russ over time. 85 million to be exact.

All the teams that need QBs are going to be terrified to make a move on him at this point as they are all waiting to see where the Kirk Cousins chip falls then after that Fields and the draft. Raiders might sweep Wilson up because they know no one wants to go there and they have no draft capital for a QB in this draft.

Should've just rolled with him anyway since he's automatically the best available QB on a very shitty market. Now they're paying extra for potentially worse results.
